We have a great news to any students who are looking to study in UK and to gain international exposure. Government of UK has recently announced the new Graduate Route Visa whereby graduates can work up to 3 years in the UK after completing their studies. The applications will be open to its international students on 1st July 2021.

Who are eligible for Graduate Route Visa?

Master’s Graduates and Bachelors Graduate can live and work up to 2 years

PhD Graduates can live and work upto 3 years .

There are no particular restrictions on the kind of job you’d like to do and you do not need to have any prior offer of employment from the companies.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Have successfully completed the degree either in UK or long distance learning
  • Hold a Tier 4/ Student visa
  • Apply within the validity of the current student Visa
  • if in the 12 months before the date of application you have been awarded a scholarship or sponsorship by a Government or international scholarship agency covering both fees and living costs for study in the UK, you must provide a letter of consent from the sponsor organization to support the application
Application Costs

The visa fee is around £700 excluding immigration health surcharge which is around £624 per year the visa will be granted.

Remote learning outside of UK during Covid-19

To be eligible for this Visa, students who have been studying remotely from outside UK will need to enter the UK on or before 21 June 2021 and

  • You must have started your course in 2021
  • The course is 12 months or less in total and
  • You have not travelled to UK yet under student visa
